Women, Football and Society Workshop

The National Football Museum will be showing its support for Parliament Week 2014, which runs from 14-20 November. This is an annual programme of events that aim to inspire people to engage with Parliament and democracy.

Schools can book our new session, ‘Women, Football and Society’ which explores the history of women’s football from 1890’s to the present day. Pupils will use a variety of historical sources and simple dramatic techniques to explore ideas around democracy, justice, rights and equality.
