Political parties and ‘doing’ democracy

This year Parliament Week’s theme is ‘Do Democracy’ and this lecture will ask whether we can best do democracy from within the party system or from the outside.

Professor Tony Wright will describe contemporary British party politics, how the party system has evolved and he will discuss how party politics is changing and what this means for participation in politics today.
