Ministry of Justice Parliament Week

We intend running on a range of talks, presentations and workshops on Parliament during the week, with the intention of reaching as many of the organisation’s tens of thousands of employees as possible. We will use a range of different channels to communicate these messages, encouraging participation in the events we will arrange.

My team will go out across the Department – and maybe to prisons and courts across the country – to do presentations, teaching them what Parliament is, how it works, and ways that we can work more effectively with Parliament. We will also ask ministers if they can do short videos or presentations on their parliamentary experiences. And we will use the whole week to better publicise some services that my team already facilitates, such as parliamentary tours. Your toolkit will also furnish us with more ideas.
