Inside Parliament with Montague

The Houses of Parliament are some of the most important buildings in the UK. It’s where the main decisions are made on how to run the country – that includes everything from the environment to schools. It also has one of the most famous landmarks in the world – The Elizabeth Tower. Completed in 1858, it houses the famous bell – Big Ben! And is also home to Monty the Gargoyle! He may be made of stone and look rather ugly, but Monty has been hanging around the Houses of Parliament since they were built. He knows everything you’d want to know about this place. Join Monty in Parliament Week on Fun Kids radio as he uses his magical abilities to explore Parliament, its history and the everyday lives of people who work within its walls.
