Democracy Street exhibition
Democracy Street is a digital arts project which explores links between street names in your neighbourhood and the people who have shaped our society.
The project is led by artist Jon Adams. Jon has Asperger’s syndrome which enables him to systemise data and visualise patterns. Using this skill he will take the data generated through your contributions to Democracy Street and create new pieces of art including creative maps of the UK.
This artwork will be displayed in Westminster Hall throughout Parliament Week.
The exhibition is open to visitors who are visiting the Houses of Parliament to join a tour, watch debates, attend an event or for business reasons.
Tickets for tours on Saturdays can be purchased on the day (subject to availability) but advanced booking is recommended.
Tours arranged via an MP or a Member of the House of Lords must be booked in advance. No advanced booking is required to watch debates (except Prime Minister’s Questions) but there may be a queue.
