What is UK Parliament Week?

UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event, spreading the word about what UK Parliament is, what it does and how you can get involved. You’ll get a free kit to help you get informed about your UK Parliament, take action and make an impact on the issues you care about.

Last year over 2.8 million people took part in every nation and region of the UK, and countries all over the world.

What’s in it for you?

When you sign up, we’ll post you a UKPW kit in the summer packed with resources to help you plan your UKPW activity.

Your free UKPW kit includes:

• A tailored booklet bringing key topics about UK Parliament and its work to life with interactive ideas to help your group explore practical ways they can get involved with UK Parliament and use their voices whatever age they are
• A buildable Trivia Tower which doubles up as a quiz and a crafty puzzle
• A Central Lobby pop-up ballot box for voting activities
• A giant Inside UK Parliament poster and stickers to share

The UKPW booklets are tailored for primary schools, secondary schools, youth groups or over 18s, so pick whichever booklet suits your group best. Use the options in the booklet to plan a UK Parliament Week activity to suit whatever time you have available and age groups you’re working with.
