Working Together Community & Parliament

This will be an opportunity for us to use the information pack and documentation that will be sent to us from Parliament to structure sessions of knowing your parliament;
• Understanding the role of parliament;
• Who goes to parliament
• What is the role of the community and where do we fit within Parliament
• Looking at examples of people and dignitaries from within the community who are now at Parliament and showing the link between the two;
• looking at the need for continued democracy and we all being good advocates
• Giving attendees the opportunity to also explore all the materials sent over to us from parliament
• Encouraging the community to be great law abiding citizens
• Making the community a harmonious place to be whilst collaborating with Parliament

Cost to attend

This event will be Free. We believe this is also our part to support our community. As we are receiving all relevant information and resources free, we as a group will also take up the cost of laying out the place and getting one or two volunteers to be in to support.
