Understanding what Parliament does

On Friday 18 November the 1st Croydon – St Matthews Beaver group will meet to learn about what Parliament does. We will explore the different processes that Parliament goes through to transform an idea into legislation. Our discussion will be illustrated by a fictional initiative – a bill is announced in the Queen’s speech to ban homework in primary schools.
