UK Parliament – What, Why, How & Who

An event for the senior section (aged 14-20) in Forth Valley to learn about the inner workings of the UK parliament and what it means for them. The event will have particular focus on the women in Parliament element, with a variety of tasks arranged for the session, in which the young women learn about past women in Parliament and feel empowered to engage in UK politics.

We plan to approach a local MSP to come and talk to us about their experience in Parliament. The event will be run mainly by the girls themselves who will organise and coordinate the tasks in hand as part of their own personal development.
