Tyneside Radicalism in Story & Song

The event is for all those who want to learn more about Tyneside’s rich heritage of radicalism and dissent. The evening will feature short talks on episodes from Newcastle’s radical history accompanied by performances of local radical songs from musicians Benny Graham and Tony Corcoran.

The evening should give you a flavour of dissent in the North East, and there will also be a chance to find out more about how to become involved in Northumbria’s University’s ‘Mapping Radical Tyneside’ project, which aims to record and map instances of radicalism and activism at the website www.radicaltyneside.org
