Sixth Form Students and Civic Activism – Parliament Week in Cheshunt

Despite many success stories there are still gaps in relation to civic engagement. The latest figures published by Parliament describing last European Elections showed that only 38% of residents exercised their right to vote. That number is even lower within young people.

This event, which will be delivered in partnership with St. Mary’s Church of England High School (Cheshunt, Hertfordshire), will address the issue of civic engagement amongst young people and aims to build a platform for “community activism”. The event will be made up of two sessions:
