Homeless not Voteless: Manchester

There are more than 36,000 people living in homelessness accommodation projects in England. This group has the power to influence society on both a local and national scale, yet many are not aware that they can register to vote and have their voices heard.

Our event is taking place at The Booth Centre, one of the country’s leading day centres for homeless people. We are hosting a democracy learning circle where homeless people can learn about national and local politics, what devolution will mean for Greater Manchester, and how they can have a say on issues most important to them.
