Do we get the politicians we deserve? In conversation with Isabel Hardman and Professor Phillip Cowley

• Do we have the right sort of people becoming MPs?
• Do we ask too much – or too little – of politicians?
• Do we give them the tools to do the job we ask of them?
• And when politicians disappoint us, it is our fault or theirs?

Join Isabel Hardman, Assistant Editor of the Spectator, and Professor Phillip Cowley, Professor in Residence at the House of Commons, at a unique event arranged as part of Parliament Week 2015.

The event will provide an opportunity to hear from two of the sharpest observers of British politics on the complex and ever changing relationship between politicians and the public.

There will be plenty of chance for the audience to join in the debate.
