For this year’s Parliament Week, the Government Art Collection is holding three lunchtime tours that will focus on the unique stories behind the Collection.
GAC staff will lead the tours, exploring how art is used in ministerial offices, from the purpose of art in Government buildings, to the selection of works and their installation. You will view works of art currently at the main GAC building and discover in which buildings they have been displayed and the public figures who have acted as temporary guardians. There will also be an opportunity to see behind the scenes areas of the building.
Book onto one of our tours through the links below, via our externally hosted booking service (Eventbrite). All tours are free, last an hour and are aimed at those over 16 years old. The GAC premises are not suitable for wheelchair users. Booking is essential.
