African Portuguese Speaking Migrants and Their Sense of Belonging in the UK

On the day, we will be talking about the lives of African Portuguese speaking migrants in the UK and their sense of belonging in their host country, their rights as migrants in the UK including the right to vote in UK elections.

It will be an opportunity to get to know this group who have no links with the old British Empire. It will also be good for them to know their rights in terms of participating in electoral and democratic processes in the UK.
