‘Knowledge of Parliament, and a good understanding of the political context in each House, are key skills for civil servants.
Throughout the year, Departments hold events and training to support their staff, supported by our dedicated team parliamentary training team at Civil Service Learning.
Parliament Week 2018 provides a great opportunity to highlight the importance of this work and discover new perspectives. We are looking forward to getting involved, and have an exciting programme of events planned across the Cabinet Office.’
– Elizabeth Gardiner, First Parliamentary Council and Permanent Secretary to the Government in Parliament Group
