Thank you to all of our partners who shared thoughts and experiences in our UK Parliament Week 2017 evaluation survey. We’re already using your feedback to shape UK Parliament Week 2018 and ensure that next year’s festival is even bigger and better that 2017.
A real highlight of the evaluation survey is hearing how UK Parliament Week makes a difference in your organisations and communities. We asked you which 3 words best summed up your UK Parliament week experience. You told us that it was a fun, educational and empowering way to engage with the UK Parliament. Here’s what one partner had to say:
“’I realised when taking part in Halton’s School Council Summit that I wasn’t representing myself, or even the school, but every young person in Halton and even the country.’
I think that sums up one Year 9 pupils’ thoughts!
Staff and students have found the whole Parliament Week experience a delight and many were pleased just how engaged and how mature pupils are if you give them a chance, a forum and most of all a willing ear to listen to them and their concerns.”
In 2018, we will be launching the first Your UK Parliament Awards and will be celebrating the contribution of our most engaged and active UK Parliament Week partner in 2017.

Save the date! UK Parliament Week 2018 will take place on 12 – 18 November.
