UK Parliament Week 2016 – What’s on?

3 Aug 2016

We already have some fantastic events planned for UK Parliament Week 2016, including a school debate by the Rotary Club of Wembley , a young people’s question time by the Young People’s Service in Slough, and an online event by Children’s Radio UK.

This year our Outreach Officer for London and the South East of England, will also be teaming up with The A-Team, an organisation who provide individuals recovering from mental ill health with a number of opportunities to enhance their quality of life. The Workshop is set to include:

  • A welcome and introduction.
  • A keynote speech on diversity in UK Parliament.
  • Information on how you can get more engaged/explore options with Parliament.
  • Time for questions.

The event will be taking place on 16 November. If you’d like to attend this event be sure to sign up as spaces are limited. We’re sure the event is set to be an excellent way to involve people from all backgrounds in the work of UK Parliament.

If you’re still searching for an idea for your event, why not have a look at our events page to see what others are doing across the country?
