Our partners are what makes Parliament Week such a success, so we are delighted to announce that Parliament Week 2013 now has over 200 of them across the UK!
Parliament Week is about making connections with UK democracy, asking questions, discovering our democratic history and finding out how you can make your voice heard.
One of the best things about the week is the huge diversity of ways you can take part, and it’s our partners who really make this happen. Parliament Week partners make a huge contribution to the week’s programme, hosting a wide range of events and activities that reach diverse audiences across the country in exciting and creative ways.
Our partners come from a broad range of sectors:
- Citizenship, education and young people;
- Social justice, volunteering, not-for-profit and charity;
- Arts and media;
- Enterprise and business.
There are also partners in every nation and region in the UK.
This year’s Parliament Week programme is already shaping up to be the best yet – with walks, talks, discussions, workshops and debates taking place all over the UK. But there’s still much more to come, so keep checking for new events and activities taking place near you. You can also follow us on Twitter to keep up-to-date with our plans.
We would like to thank all of our partners in advance for working so hard to make Parliament Week 2013 a great success.
