In the run-up to Parliament Week we will be highlighting events happening up and down the country. This week’s highlight focuses on an online activity by the Women in Public Life campaign, led by Dame Rosemary Butler AM who is the Presiding Officer of the National Assembly for Wales.
As part of her campaign, she launched the Women in Public Life Development Scheme, aimed at giving a group of women the chance to change their career path with role shadowing, mentoring opportunities and training to help them be better prepared for public life in Wales.
In November, there will be a selection of blog posts featured on the Women in Public Life web portal from the mentees who are taking part in the scheme. They will talk about their experiences on the scheme and hopes for the future.
